Vyshak Residency

The bed had dried rice stuck to the sheet, so it seemed like the previous guest's sheets hadn't been changed. There wasn't a sheet between the blanket and the bed sheet either. The room also had no towel, soap, kettle, Wi-Fi, or tissue paper. I paid Rs. 2,500 for a two-bedroom room, then saw an online price of Rs. 2,024 after checking in. When I cancelled the third day, they refunded only 50% of that last day. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The staff behaved terribly. I wouldn't consider this place suitable for families, especially women.

The room was average, but it was clean and had a TV, hot water, AC, and a good bed. The manager and staff were nice. We paid 2500 for three people for 24 hours, with checkout 24 hours after check-in. The outside view wasn't good, and the old lift was painfully slow. Wi-Fi showed no internet even after we told the staff. The bathroom wasn't great either, the shower was broken and the tap didn't work properly. Don't eat at the hotel's restaurant. The food was very bad, and packaged items cost more than the MRP.

They make you pay the full amount before check-in and won't let you settle up at checkout. Booking through OYO also seemed to annoy the staff, since OYO takes a portion of their money. Calls to reception often got no answer, and there was no drinking water through room service. Hot water was supposedly available from 5:30 to 1:00, but it was never hot. The TV remote stopped working after a couple of button presses. When I complained, room service changed the batteries and demonstrated it, but the same problem came right back. The toilet flush often stopped working, and the cups and water jugs weren't clean enough. I didn't find the place clean or well equipped overall. Breakfast quality was poor. Before 9:00, the complimentary meal came with two idlis, one vada, and pineapple pudding, which did taste good. After 9:30, it was just two idlis. The lift took at least a minute to close its doors after I pressed my floor, and an extra mattress cost 400.
