EDM Hostel

A really social hostel with a fun atmosphere, great mountain views, and music nights. I had a great time here in Dharamshala, meeting other travelers.

The dorms and rooms feel overpriced, and they weren't very clean or hygienic. You could also end up sharing the space with some strange or unruly guests, so the stay itself wasn't great. Still, EDM Hostel Dharamkot really delivers on its party reputation. The DJ nights are incredible, the vibe is electric, and drinks are reasonably priced for the energy and music. If you're here just to party, it's hard to beat. For a comfortable stay, though, it isn't worth the money.

The owners are passionate about the music scene and support beginner DJs by giving them chances to play at their homegrown events. You can feel the community around the place, and the crowd feels genuine. EDM Hostel is one of the few places that still feels authentic, without turning into an overly commercial party spot. Highly recommend it for good music and good people.

Staff across reception, the kitchen and bar were cooperative, and the volunteers helped make the place friendly and welcoming. I also appreciated the security checks in the dorm to help keep women safe. The common area and open bar had a nice party feel, and the location was perfect for a sundowner. Room cleanliness was good, though maintenance could use a little more attention. A pleasant stay and good value for money.
