Highland Village Resort

The actual place didn't match the pictures. The rooms were old and dirty, and although they said it was a buffet, it wasn't. Most of the staff were nice, but the lady receptionist had no manners when speaking to guests.

I only called to ask about prices and accommodation, and they told me not to call. If they're no help, they shouldn't be answering the phone or working at the front desk. I can't imagine how they treat guests in person when they couldn't even handle a call properly. Get better staff :)

Very bad service. Rooms show as available online, but when you get there, there's no room. The number listed online doesn't even get answered when you need them. The speaker isn't at the hotel either, and the manager is very rude.

I booked what was advertised as the hotel's best, premium room category and was given Room 301 on the top floor. It had a strong, lingering moisture and mildew smell that made it uninhabitable. At my request, staff let me check Rooms 302, 303, and 304, but every one had the same intense musty odour. The bedding in those rooms also felt noticeably stale and unpleasant. With possible health risks, including serious allergic reactions, I found the accommodation unacceptable. Luckily, I had booked one night rather than the three-day stay I had intended.
