It's a budget hotel, and the Dhauladhar Mountains through the windows are amazing. I think a night here is worth it. The bedsheets and pillow covers could be fresher and free of smells, though, and the rooms need ventilation for the seasons when you don't need AC. For this price range, it's okay overall.

If you're looking for a stay near kangra airport, I'd recommend this hotel instead of River retreat hotel. It's excellent for a low budget, with extremely clean, spacious rooms and modest decor. The food was awesome, and so was the service staff.

You can see the mountain range right in front of the hotel, and Kangra airport is just 1 km away. The location is very good. The manager is great, and the staff are cooperative and very helpful to people. The food is absolutely number one.

From the hotel you can see the Dhauladhar range, Dharamsala, and Kangra Airport, with planes coming in to watch. It's easy to reach on the Pathankot Mandi highway, and Daramsala is 9 km away. Prices are reasonable for both AC and Non AC rooms. Parking, a bar, and a restaurant are available, the staff are cooperative, and the food quality is very good. Nice place to stay for the price, with beautiful views.
