Hotel Mirage Residency

We arrived at Hotel Mirage Residency, Dharamshala with my family at around 9:30 PM on 12.04.2026. The experience was very disappointing and caused a lot of discomfort and concern. I avoided escalating things at the time because my family was there. We paid ₹3900 in cash for two rooms, but the basic facilities promised when booking weren't available. The TV with DTH didn't work, WiFi was non-functional, there was no hot water when we checked in the morning, and mosquitoes in the room made it uncomfortable and unhygienic. Renovation work was also underway, but no one disclosed that at check-in. It disturbed us and felt lacking in transparency. We asked the staff repeatedly to fix the problems, but nothing effective was done. They were rude and unprofessional instead. They even said they had “done a mercy” by giving us the rooms at a lower price, despite taking payment and not providing basic amenities. When I raised the issues, they threatened to make us leave and wouldn't give me the owner's or management's contact details. There was no proper way to make a complaint. They took cash and didn't readily provide a proper receipt, which added to the lack of transparency. This was a poor stay that didn't meet basic hospitality standards. I'd advise future guests to be cautious.

On our journey, this was one of the best places we stayed. The rooms, service, and food were top notch, and I'd definitely recommend it to others. It had everything I needed while traveling.

The peaceful atmosphere made for a relaxing visit, and the amenities were all in excellent condition. My room at the hotel Mirage was clean, comfortable, and carefully maintained throughout my stay. The staff were polite and attentive, handling each request promptly and graciously. I'd gladly return and recommend it to others.

The room, food, and staff were all great. We got what we expected, and the hotel is worth what they charge. It really felt close to perfect.
