OYO 25107 Aqua Waterfall Hotel

The staff were cooperative and helpful, and both the rooms and service were very good. Definitely recommend staying here.

For this price, it’s an excellent property. The rooms are huge, and the nearby river adds to the charm of the location.

The service was poor and often late, and the food was pathetic, so I’d avoid eating here if possible. Hot water was another issue: the rooms had geysers, but they weren’t very effective and took a long time. There’s an onsite pool with a small waterfall fed by natural running water from the hills, but it doesn’t get cleaned often. It looked a bit dirty, and you might not want to swim in it. The top-floor rooms are exceptionally nice, with balcony views, big beds and wardrobes, fluffy mattresses and pillows, tables and chairs, and decorative lights. Staying there feels excellent. The other rooms are below average.

The location is 9 km from Dharamshala. If you’re coming from Pathankot by bus, get off at Chambi, 1 km from Rait, then turn left. The hotel is 6 km from there. From the balcony you get lovely nature views, and behind the property there are open fields and mountains. The rooms and soft beds were very clean, and there’s a TV and telephone service. The staff are careful and cooperative, and you can get whatever you need. Everything a good hotel should have is available here.
