The couple hosting me were so warm and sweet, and the whole place has that same welcoming feel. It's a cute little, minimalist hotel in a cozy corner of Dharamshala, run by lovely Japanese folks. The food is out of this world, especially the pancakes at breakfast and the Japanese cuisine for lunch. Rooms are spacious and have a good mountain view. They also have two cute dogs to greet you. Pretty much everything you need for a vacation is nearby. A big thank you to the couple. I'm definitely coming back.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were welcoming and polite. Katsu Gotzen is a must-try, and the outdoor area is lovely. It’s a beautiful place to visit, right behind NORBULINGKA institute.

The hosts’ smiles and warmth make even tired, hardened travelers feel welcome. The rooms are cozy, with astonishing views, and the café serves Japanese food. This would be a great next stay in Dharamshala.

I left close to tears and very disappointed. I was exhausted from traveling, but the hospitality was nowhere near what I expected. The Nepalese woman at the front desk needs to learn basic customer service. After we spoke, she called the owner, a Japanese woman, who was rude to me too. Absolutely horrible service.

I went to Sakura for the Japanese food, and it was tasty and really good. But the cold coffee was half foam, and when I mentioned it, the waitress said that’s just how cold coffee is. I liked the place, but after the way they handled it, I won’t try the cold coffee again.
