Pavilion City Hotel

From the balcony I saw people going in and out through the same parking shutter the reception guy said would stay closed until morning. He also wouldn't let us go near our bike there. Around 10 PM, when we tried to go out for food, he stopped us and kept saying police would catch tourists, take bribes and detain us until the next day. He said tourists weren't allowed out at night, which was shocking to hear in independent India. He even stopped us using the lift from the 5th floor and insisted on walking us down the stairs, looking visibly panicked. The room was decent and reception staff had seemed polite at first, but the atmosphere became strange and uncomfortable. His behaviour felt suspicious, as if there was something in the parking area they didn't want guests to see. I wouldn't recommend it for families or anyone wanting nightlife or late-night drives.
