Requests were either overlooked or took too long, and the staff didn’t seem coordinated. That made the stay inconvenient and spoiled the experience. The reception team was especially rude and careless when we raised concerns, and their communication was poor. I expected basic respect and timely help, but got neither. The service and hospitality fell well short of what a hotel should provide. Management needs to address staff behavior, communication, and customer service through proper training. I hope they take this seriously so other guests don’t have the same experience.

The sea-facing room was lovely and well kept, and we could enjoy both sunset and sunrise views. Clouds hid the sun coming up over the horizon, though. The resort sits right by the beach in a quiet, pleasant spot with a golden view. We were unsure about booking Azhagu beach resort at first, but ended up really enjoying the location when we arrived on 16.01.26. Food is the one drawback: there aren’t nearby places to get any, so you’ll need Zomato or Swiggy. Bringing some things with you ahead of time would help. I’d recommend it to family and friends.

The quiet setting away from Kanyakumari’s busy tourist hub was a big part of our refreshing stay at Azhagu Beach Resort. There’s a beautiful beach right outside, with a private-shoreline feel, and the staff were warm and easy to approach. They can arrange an auto for an extra charge if you don’t have your own vehicle. Our room was clean and looked after, with WiFi, parking, showers, and lots of charging points. We stayed on 26.09.2025. It felt safe and peaceful. Highly recommended! :)

The quiet, secluded setting is part of the appeal here, though being isolated is the main drawback if you want markets or places to walk out to. Azhagu Beach Resort is in Leepuram, right beside the sea, and waking to the waves before watching the sunrise was memorable. Most Kanyakumari attractions and the station are roughly 2.5-3 km away. Getting straight from the station can be a little inconvenient without help, and transport from the property can be tricky, but the manager readily arranged autos at reasonable prices. The place is well maintained and managed. Since it’s a little out of the way, they provide basic cutlery, salt, and an electric kettle, which came in handy because Swiggy and Zomato deliver but don’t always include cutlery. Morning tea and coffee are included too, and the staff and caretaker/manager were proactive and helpful. A peaceful, scenic stay if you value calm surroundings and sunrise views.

We really liked the beach-view family room at Azhagu Resort. It was clean, the price for our 4 days was reasonable, and the sunrise view was excellent. The receptionist gave especially great service. For peace, calm, and the view, it’s the best hotel to stay in Kanyakumari 😊
