Hotel Ashoka Imperial by OYO Rooms

We used the banquet hall for an event and found it spacious, with a good range of food. The rooftop dining also stood out, especially at breakfast, and the rooms were clean in this convenient central location. Service slowed down at busy times, and the WiFi was occasionally unreliable. Staff were polite overall. A practical choice for a stay or gathering.

We stopped at Hotel Ashoka Imperial’s restaurant in Nagpur for a relaxing meal, and its cozy but elegant setting, just minutes from the airport, suited us well. The vegetarian food had that comforting home-cooked feel: soft tava chapatis, dal tadka, and jeera-garlic rice made with fresh ingredients. We left feeling nostalgic and satisfied. The staff were warm, attentive, and eager to tailor the meal, and their suggestion to pair the rice with creamy dal was spot on. We also noticed a spacious banquet hall nearby that would suit birthdays or weddings. For locals planning an event, or visitors looking for lodging near the airport and familiar vegetarian food, it’s a convenient place with dining, stays, and celebrations all together.

Ashoka Imperial made our birthday celebration memorable. More than 120 guests were handled easily, with everything running smoothly and on time. The setup looked elegant, and the staff stayed polite, attentive, and professional throughout. The starters, main dishes, and desserts were flavorful and freshly prepared, and guests liked the variety. Great ambiance and seamless service for a family gathering.

The price didn’t feel justified by what we got. I spent two nights here with my family and was disappointed by the poor maintenance and slow, uncoordinated food service. They also charged ₹40 for a water bottle marked with an MRP of ₹20.
