A really bad hotel. The rooms are poor and there's a nasty smell throughout.

The building looked more like a residential block than a proper hotel, and the entrance was disappointing. We came from Mumbai to Nagpur for family business and booked two rooms through OYO, one for three men and one for three women, paying extra for the additional person in each. The location was down a very narrow residential lane that even the auto rickshaw driver didn't know. At 8.00pm, the counter staff were rude and wanted to keep our original adhar card, then demanded the balance before showing us a room. When I asked to see its condition first, he and the owner argued with me over the phone. With the women in our group, we paid anyway. The room wasn't clean, the toilet was like one at a Govt S.T. bus depot, and the non AC room had no hot water pipe, just a heater. The bed sofa stuck out past the bed frame 😄. The women's room bathroom was so small they could barely sit down to bathe 👎. I didn't see any staff in uniform. Oyo should de-list it from their panel; this hurts their reputation, and OYO is a big name in India.
We booked a classic room through Oyo, but were shown a room only 2 by 2 m. The receptionist was rude and said the previous customers hadn't checked out yet, promising another room when they left. Later, even though another room was available, they refused to move us and wanted an extra 500 to let us stay in the room we'd booked. It left me thinking this hotel only gives preference to couples staying for a few hours. Bad experience.
We left because of the problems: the washroom was shared, the rooms were dirty, and the staff were rude. The location felt very shady, with nowhere to find food nearby, and the food they did provide was awful. They also charged extra. A booking seems to mean nothing here. Very bad experience, never book this hotel.
I was already exhausted from searching for rooms, so in the end I paid an extra fee to check in early. I'd booked at a discount through OYO, and their executive had told me early check-in wouldn't cost extra. At the hotel they refused to let me in early unless I paid, and wouldn't speak with OYO when I asked them to sort it out. That's how they treat customers. The room was poor, too. Only one tube light and the fan worked; most of the lights didn't. I got no towel or other usual OYO items. The bathroom was tiny, had no shower, and the flush only worked with some juggad. They supplied no soap or shampoo. The whole experience was bad.
