The bathroom tap barely had any water pressure, and the room lock kept giving me trouble, so I had to call someone to open it each time. There were lots of mosquitoes and the room was very unclean. I didn't like the hotel at all. The photos online show something completely different from the disappointing reality.
The way the room and surroundings were maintained was awful, and the place felt unhygienic. We regretted booking Hotel Ranuka Inn and wouldn't recommend it to anyone wanting a clean, safe stay. The online photos were completely misleading compared with the actual dirty room. There weren't proper keys for the room. When we asked, we were told, "Just pull the door, the camera is watching." That felt unsafe and unprofessional.
The rooms are third class and very dirty, and the beds aren't even washed. They charge too much, so customers get cheated. In the evening the workers seem intoxicated, which makes this hotel feel unsafe for families. The service has been chief.
The only good thing is the location. The price is high, there are lots of things that need improving, and the staff aren't supportive. I had to change rooms three times during a single night. Cleanliness and service were poor, with cockroaches around, a broken flush, faulty room latches, dripping water, and a scary sound from the AC.
The staff were super rude and made us feel unwelcome as soon as we arrived. There were mosquitoes everywhere. It's also a marriage hall combined with a hotel, not a full time hotel, and the ambience, rooms, amenities, and lift are all sub-standard. Better to stay in the railway retiring room than travel all the way here.
