The balcony scenery is beautiful, and it makes up for the place having less accommodation than others. Vineet ji is polite, helpful, and available with one call. Food is good when requested. The uphill approach is a bit rough and involves a climb, so I wouldn’t recommend it for elderly people.
We had a wonderful stay and got great value for money. Vineet, the owner, was kind and attentive, making sure we had what we needed. His food was delicious, like a comforting home-cooked meal. The setting is quiet and serene, with sweeping views of the Shivalik mountains. We enjoyed the birdsong, gentle daylight, and stargazing in the chilly evening breeze.
Cuckoo Cottage is a lovely spot in peaceful Pangot, with a view we loved. It’s ideally placed for enjoying nature, birds, and clouds. The rooms are very clean and the staff are very good. Nature lovers looking for a peaceful place should visit and enjoy their holiday.
Vineet, the owner, was accommodating and helped with what we needed. It’s an affordable, excellent place to stay, and a great base for birding. Vineet also gave useful tips about the best bird-watching trails.
Just be prepared for a five-minute uphill climb to get there. The room was very spacious and well equipped, with a clean toilet and hot water supplied as needed. We enjoyed our downtime on the large attached balcony with its nice view. The food was simple but really tasty. We enjoyed staying at Cuckoo cottages during our Pangot birding trip, and highly recommend it.
