Dining was a major letdown at Dee Fellows - River Side Resort. Meals cost nearly three times what I’d pay at a nearby restaurant, and even snacks and drinks were heavily marked up. That felt hard to justify given the resort’s average facilities and quality. The room had no refrigerator, the old air conditioner barely cooled, and the extra mattresses were filthy. Our towels were stained too. The pool water seemed dirty and overly treated, and the men’s washroom by the pool was poorly maintained and felt like a public toilet. Snooker and table tennis were available, but the old, badly kept tables made them difficult to enjoy. The amenities are dated and the cleanliness needs work. They should reconsider food prices, improve the rooms and pool water, and refurbish the indoor games.

Manohar was especially kind, and the staff treated us nicely. Our room had plenty of room for four people, with amazing mountain views. I loved staying here and had a great experience. It’s a nice place to rest and enjoy the scenery.

We paid ₹1,520 for eight butter toasts for four people at Dee Fellow Resort, or ₹190 each. That felt unreasonable for such a basic item, especially given its quality and quantity. Meals here are notably expensive too, compared with local restaurants and other resorts nearby, even though the food and ambiance are decent. Guests should expect high dining costs or look outside the resort for cheaper options.

The property views and the team made my stay really lovely, and I’d like to return. Mr. Devinder was my contact in the evening and responded super quickly to my questions. Earlier, when I arrived a little late, Ms. Taranpreet and Mr. Aakash got me checked in promptly and showed me the restaurant where I could have lunch. The whole team was helpful and alert.

The calm surroundings and inviting atmosphere made this a lovely place to unwind. The pool was well kept, and the accommodation was comfortable. Service was top-notch. I’d recommend Dee Fellows Hotel and Resorts for a peaceful getaway.
