Hotel Amardeep

Having several different venues on one property made our February 2026 wedding much easier to organize. We held two days of festivities for 150+ guests, and 50+ people stayed both nights. The rooms were comfortable, and using a different space for each event gave them their own look and feel: the conference hall for the engagement, disco lounge for Sangeet/Mehndi, lawn for Haldi, café area for the mandap, and banquet for the jaimala. There was sunlight during the day and cozy indoor spaces on the colder evenings. Arshad Khan helped bring our décor plans together. We chose real flowers and a colour theme for each event, and he helped us pick flowers that fit our budget. The engagement was all white to go with the bride’s dress, Haldi had yellow and orange genda, Mehndi had a selfie booth, and the mandap and jaimala used bright red with touches of white and yellow. The in-house catering was well received, especially the Kumaoni additions for guests from outside Uttarakhand. Staff were supportive of our requests, including serving local items like Singodi with meals. Kedar Singh Mehra (GM of Amardeep) gave us a good overall deal, and the team were responsive and well coordinated, which made hosting a big group much easier. A good option for weddings and celebrations with accommodation all in one place, and probably for business stays too.

I was in Haldwani overnight for a business trip. Amardeep Hotel on Rampur Road has plenty of parking, a large lobby, courteous staff from reception through room service, and a comfortable-sized room. Still, the linen and upholstery need better cleaning and care. The bigger problem was the dining. The room service food was below average for the prices, and breakfast was disappointing too: hard idlis, watery sambhar, cold tea and coffee, and not even an omelette. The property has potential, but a stronger kitchen team would make a real difference.

The food was so good 😋, and Mr. Kedar singh Mehra (GM) was very supportive. Mr. Yogendra Dangi from Restaurant and Mr. Deepak from front office handled things really well. The staff were cooperative and soft spoken, and their management helped us enjoy the wedding.

The front desk and restaurant teams made me feel welcome, and everyone was warm, attentive, and ready to help with a smile. My room was spacious, spotless, and had all the modern amenities. Housekeeping kept everything clean throughout the stay. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a good variety. The location was close to major attractions but still peaceful enough to relax. I’d gladly stay again and recommend it for the comfort and service.
