The main downside is the stairs you have to climb to reach the hotel, so I wouldn't suggest it for older people. I spent two days there on a May holiday in Nainital. The hotel sits a little above Mall Road, which gives you nice lake and hill views. The rooms were decent, though not luxurious, and the staff were friendly. Its location is excellent, around halfway along Mall Road, with shops, places to eat, and shopping all within walking distance. I didn't try the food, so I can't comment on it.

Rajesh from service was especially helpful in arranging transport whenever we needed it, and the staff were nice. The food was good too. It's right in front of Naini lake, a nice place to stay in Nainital. I highly recommend it and will visit again.

Mr. Anand was always ready to help guests at any time and kept coordinating to find available cabs. The staff were professional and well mannered, and the clean rooms have an excellent lake side view. I had an amazing time at Hotel Krishna and would recommend it for a comfortable stay in Nainital.

The staff were really nice, and the food was good. It's on mall road, which makes it a handy base for sightseeing.
