Maakot Homestay

Makoot Home Stay was a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, with lovely views and fresh mountain air. The cool breeze and pleasant weather made the setting even better. It’s conveniently near Nainital, while still feeling quiet and away from the bustle. We were welcomed with a friendly smile, and the staff were attentive, courteous, and ready to help. They arranged local transport, offered guidance on nearby attractions, and made sure we had a pleasant meal. Their personal attention made us feel special. Our room was spacious, well maintained, and beautifully designed. The soft bedding made for a restful night after exploring, and everything was very clean, from the fresh linens to the spotless bathroom. The homestyle meals were fresh, flavorful, and delicious, especially breakfast. It was a delightful getaway, with comfort, warm hospitality, good food, and a beautiful location all together. I’d gladly return and recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable, peaceful stay near Nainital. Five stars!

The owner was so kind when I had a panic attack in the middle of the night, and handled the situation really well. I felt safe as a solo woman traveler, and everyone was helpful.
