The room itself was cramped, with just one small window and a terrible view, and the bathroom felt tiny and airless because its exhaust fan didn’t work. The sheets were dirty, and the geyser took a long time to heat the water. Breakfast had no taste, and when we ordered extra tea, we were told there was no milk. Our TV was also out of order, but after we complained, nobody tried to fix it. There was only one staff member around, and he didn’t make an effort to sort out any of our problems. A horrible stay. Don’t visit this hotel.

Getting to this hotel meant a steep climb, and the staff seemed both rude and untrained. I arrived at 9 30 pm and asked about dinner. The boy told me to pay 300 for the order plus 100 rupees for delivery since they bring it from lake side. What rubbish, but I had to pay. There wasn’t a phone to call reception, just a ring with no battery, so you had to open the door and shout for someone. There was no hot water in the morning either. It felt like a home stay where you do everything yourself, while still paying them for it.

The rooms were amazing and the location worked really well for a stay. The drinking water setup wasn’t proper, though, and the kitchen was a mess.

The rooms are good, but the service was very bad. There was just one old man looking after all the rooms, and no RO Kent water.

The owner was rude to both the staff and us as customers. They even forced us to leave our room in the middle of the night.
