OYO 85555 Grace of Shiva

We were five people and had a very pleasant stay. All the rooms look toward Bhimtal lake in the distance, with lovely green hills from the balconies. Each has a double bed, two chairs, a table, TV and attached bathroom, with hot water from a geyser. Food ordered from the hotel was really good and high quality. The owner hosted us himself, and the staff were kind about accommodating all our requests. It’s right next to Sainik School Ghorakhal and a short walk from Ghorakhal temple. Nainital, Kaichi dham Bhawali and Shyamkhet are all within about a 20-minute drive, so the location is ideal if you’re visiting those places.

The rooms are suited to people on a budget. The staff were polite, the food was excellent and the location is great, between Bhimtal and Nainital. Don’t book through OYO, though, as the photos they show of the rooms are wrong. Book directly with the hotel.

The balcony has a lovely view, and the price is reasonable. The owner was professional and a nice person. Cleanliness wasn’t good and the service was the worst. The rest of the stay was okay.

The staff were pleasant and the food was delicious. It’s in the middle of all the famous taal of nainital. A good option if you want a nice hotel at an average price.
