The Kumaoni chicken was worth trying, but the rajma was a flop. The property itself is nice and has three and a half bedrooms, though being on the main road means daytime noise. It quiets down at night, but don’t count on a calm afternoon nap. The caretaker and chef need proper training in service and cleanliness. Ordering something can mean hearing that they’d have to go all the way to the market, even with 24 hours’ notice. I had to give repeated instructions about bathroom cleaning and stay on top of basics like water, glasses, and fresh towels. They only followed about half of what I asked. We’re very particular about hygiene, so if you’re more relaxed about that, you might be fine here.
