Staff were available around the clock and responded quickly when we called, and service in general was fast. The room was basic but clean, with a double bed, two chairs, table, cupboard, kettle, cable TV, and a geyser in the bathroom. We also got an iron on request. The wall fan was broken and lying at the bottom of the cupboard, though we didn’t need it. Food was average, and some dishes on the already limited menu were nowhere near how they should have been. Portions also varied from one order to the next. The rooms fall short for location, atmosphere, and equipment, and the service only met expectations. It felt overpriced for what we got, and I wouldn’t pay more than 2K per room per night. There’s no parking, and it’s on a congested one-way street with regular traffic jams, so taxis charge a bomb to drop you off.

The family rooms have two king-size beds and enough room beyond the beds. In November, the deluxe room rate was around 3000. The property is newly built, with very nice rooms, and it’s within walking distance of the temple, Tibetan market, and neni tal. Staff don’t entertain bargaining, but the price offered is worth it. Many hotels in Nainital are old and dirty, so this place stands out and should be considered for a stay.

Wi-Fi was weak in our room but very strong at reception, where I managed to make my tatkal booking. There was a little water trouble, but it was manageable. We had a great two-night stay, with very nice, clean rooms and a generous, good-quality breakfast. The hotel owner and workers were polite and helpful.

We were charged a good amount, but the stay wasn’t worth it. The rooms were dirty and smelled of smoke, the bedsheets had marks, and my brother got a rash on his face from the pillow. At midnight, the receptionist was shouting with another customer. When asked to lower his voice, he replied, "dheere hi bol rha, baki Jo karna hai kar lo". The hotel owner, a lady, came by while we were sitting there. She seemed educated enough and should get rid of this kind of staff, or people won’t return to Nanital as a holiday destination. A very bad experience.
