The Moksh Eco Inn

We booked the pine cottage and found it well kept, with awesome views. The staff were warm and caring, and the food was fresh and delicious, with local as well as international flavors. It was a super relaxing holiday, and we'd love to come back.

Cuckoo, the friendly black indie dog at the hotel, was a nice part of the stay, and our pet enjoyed being there as much as we did. We picked this small hotel because it welcomes pets. It's laid out vertically along a cliff: the children's playground is at the bottom, then a badminton court, a lawn, rooms, and finally the restaurant and car park on the upper level. Our room looked out over the Himalayas. We left with all our happy hormones hacked after three nights.

The road up to the property isn't well made, so reaching it felt a little risky. Still, we'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Mukteshwar and would love to stay again. The hotel has mesmerizing views, including visible snow peaks, and spacious rooms. The heater beds were a highlight for me. Staff were polite and courteous throughout, the food was delicious, and portions were generous. At breakfast, the buffet was brought to each table, so we could enjoy the view while trying a variety of items.

We came from Dehradun, stopping first in Nainital, then Bhimtal, with Mukteshwar as our last destination. Honestly, this was the only place that felt truly calming. All our tiredness seemed to disappear when we got here. Food was great, and every staff member was helpful and friendly. We had a great experience at The Moksh Inn and would love to visit again.
