The Manora Woods Resort

The mountain views and pretty location made the stay special, and the food and room were both very nice. Room service and management were friendly and helpful. Ashok Bhandari, the owner, made us more comfortable and offered complimentary BBQ and bone fire. Highly recommend it, especially for the value.

The food was exceptionally good, with plenty of good vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices. Our room at Manora was spotless and cozy, and the supportive staff arranged a bonfire for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

We spent five days here and booked two rooms. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, listening to our requests and trying to fulfill them. We were welcomed with a nice local Burhansh flower drink. There’s a small private hill behind the property for a trek, a good experience for beginners. The place is peaceful, away from Nainital’s bustle, but accessible from both nainital and bhowali, the main chowk for going toward kainchi dham, bhimtal, naukuchiatal, mukteshwar, and elsewhere. The atmosphere felt pure, with nice views of Nainital hilltop and sunsets from the verandah. We had a great stay.

We had a very nice experience and would love to visit again. It’s a calm, green place with the facilities you need, nice tea and food, and clean rooms. Staff were well managed and gave good guidance. The location is easy to find, right on the road and midway between Nainital and Bhimtal, with hilltop views across Nainital. It’s a great holiday spot for family or friends, and I’d suggest it to colleagues and friends. Good luck to Manora and the team.
