The Himalayan mountains weren’t visible during our visit because it was cloudy, though you can see them from the room when the weather allows. The resort has a serene, beautiful setting, and the view left me and my friends feeling relaxed and peaceful. Royal Dutch is about 3-4 kms from the Muktheswara Shiv Shakti Temple. We really enjoyed our stay, especially the food, staff, hospitality, and hygiene, all of which were A +. There’s also a doll museum inside the resort, but we ran out of time to see it. We’ll visit that next time.

I didn’t stay there, but I saw enough to say the rooms seemed okay. The doll museum, though, isn’t for the faint-hearted. Yes, I mean that. Only serious doll connoisseurs will appreciate that room, which I wouldn’t really call a museum.

The Doll Museum is a really unusual place, with lots of original old Barbie dolls dressed in different outfits. Little girls in particular would enjoy it. Entry is Rs.40 per person, and it’s inside the hotel grounds. I assume it’s open every day.

For a visit to Mukteshwar dham, go around 06 to 06:30 am if you want to attend the morning aarti. We stayed here with family and found the place peaceful and safe, with a lovely view. The staff were welcoming and the hospitality was very good. It would suit a family, friends, a couple, or someone travelling alone. Thanks to all the staff at Royal Dutch resort.

The Himalayan view and the interiors were what I loved most on my first stay at Royal dutch resort. Staff were friendly, and service came quickly. I had a really good time there and would recommend it to everyone.
