Vergomont Holiday Home

We visited with a group for a holistic wellness retreat and had a very pleasant stay. Vergomont colonial bungalow is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by greenery. The place is well maintained, with clean, spacious, comfortable rooms and washrooms, plus a huge front garden where families, young kids, and pets can sit and relax. The staff were extremely friendly. Mornings felt serene, and we could hear birds chirping and enjoy nature walks. It’s a lovely place to meditate, exercise, do yoga, or just detox in the open green lawns. I’d highly recommend it and would like to come back.

The hosts were welcoming and attentive, with fresh linens and local breakfast options taken care of, and cooks and cleaning staff helped make the stay comfortable. Vergomant Place is set in the peaceful Uttrakhand countryside, with a stone façade, lush gardens, and a warm feeling that made me feel at home. Inside, it has classic British charm, vintage wooden furniture, cozy bonfire, and soft, vibrant tones. There are quiet nearby trails, a garden for morning tea, and a fire to curl up beside with a book. It felt like a lovely break from the pace of daily life. I’d recommend it for meditation getaways, solo retreats, or a weekend with close friends, and can’t wait to return.

We went trekking to the nearby rocky River and really enjoyed it. The mushroom and Honeybee farming places were only 3 minutes walking away. The old vintage cottage sits in a peaceful village in the hills. I came with my partner and we had a wonderful stay, though we realized it might be even more fun with a bigger group. Ramesh, the caretaker, is amazing and cooks superb meals. He’s always available. We’re going to come back.

Ramesh, the caretaker, was very helpful and makes good food. The garden was well kept, and the rooms were clean with neat washrooms. There are enough rooms for a family or a group of friends, and everything on the property is well maintained. A nice place to chill with friends and enjoy your own leisure time. We had a good experience and would visit with family or friends.
