OYO 70250 Royal Residency

The room and restroom were neat enough, and the AC worked. But this is basically a lodge with only basic amenities: there was no lift, towels, soap, phone, or room service. It's fine if you're looking for a low cost lodge, but I was disappointed that it was part of Coastal Grand Hotels. I made the mistake of seeing pictures of Coastal Grand Hotels and booking at Royal Residency, which was supposed to be a sister unit. I also confused the names while searching on Google, between 'Coastal Residency' and 'Coastal Royal Residency'.

The staff were kind, and they were usually quick with the food, which tasted good. I stayed for 3 days over a weekend. Breakfast only starts at 9am, too late for me, so it's better to eat elsewhere. Restaurants are about half a km away, and finding a nearby rick is difficult, so you have to walk a bit. There was no proper table in the room, though the facilities were otherwise decent. Nobody cleaned the room during those 3 days, which was odd.

Staff were nice and helpful, and the 24 hr checkout arrangement was a really good deal. The rooms were okay and close to where we needed to go. Parking is separate from the main building, but that was fine. The disappointment was that no towels were available because apparently they had all gone to the laundry. I'm not sure if that's a regular thing.

The rooms were kept neat and the AC was good. But don't book through OYO, because the management asks for extra money and otherwise won't let you check in. The parking isn't covered, and there isn't CCTV installed, which they should improve. The number listed on Maps sends you to OYO. I don't know why the hotel put that number there when they reply to most reviews but haven't updated their contact details.
