We agreed on one room rate in the evening, but by checkout the next morning it had doubled. The rooms were filthy, the sheets torn, and the Wi-Fi didn't work. I can't believe a place this awful can still be running. I strongly don't recommend staying here.

If your tour company books Hotel Parichit, this is a review of Hotel Soma. The food was the only positive, it was mid. Wi-Fi doesn't reach the first floor, and the double bed is smaller than single beds for middle class families. There was cigarette ash under the bed, no mirror, and the blankets were covered in dust and hair. If you want to experience a one-star hotel, try somewhere better, because this place is worse.

The room was stuffy, with no ventilation, and it wasn’t clean. They also charged extra for it. Food was costly too, 120 rupees for a plain paratha. A complete waste of time and money. Don’t book here, ever.

The food was fabulous, and the staff were very good. The location is great too, with a taxi stand and parking in the right spot. One of the best hotels in Namchi.
