OYO 16722 The Countryside Resort

A nice room for a very good price.

It's a new OYO hotel and still unfinished. The rooms are spacious and the staff are pleasant, but they need to sort out quite a few things before renting rooms. Some switchboards don't work properly, and during a power cut the lights, AC, or fan may not run on generator power. There's no bathroom mirror, and used plastic bottles are being used where they should provide water jugs. Cleaning staff need to clear rubbish promptly. We found more than six or seven soap wrappers on the bathroom floor, and the bathroom fittings need attention. The food arrangements also need work, since there aren't nearby restaurants where guests can find decent alternatives.

The staff are really nice, but the service is too casual. Orders take at least 40-50 minutes, no matter what you ask for, and necessary items are often missing from the room. They're trying, but the service system needs a lot of improvement.

I came here with my family, and it was a terrible stay. Street dogs got into the rooms, and there was a really bad smell. Room service was awful, and the toilet was like one at a bus stand. They also wouldn't accept an OYO booking. The whole experience was the worst.
