Hotel Orange Tree

We came with friends to try the food after seeing a board advertising a multi-cuisine restaurant. The place was empty, and it took 15 minutes just to get a glass of water. They handed us a menu only after we asked, then said they couldn't make the Chinese dishes listed on it. In fact, they said they had no food and could serve only a few Indian dishes. The service was pathetic. A real mood spoiler and a terrible place.

I've been to family functions here three times, so I know the hotel, its rooms, food, and service fairly well. Most of it is quite nice, but the food didn't meet the standard my family had paid for. My overall impression is average, though.

The conference and family function halls work well for get-togethers and small events, and the hotel is close to Nasik Road Railway station. Food and ambience are very good, though service can be delayed and unprofessional. There's no parking at the hotel.

The rooms look like they're about to fall apart. At the restaurant called Tatva, the only breakfast options were Upma and Poha, the lights were out, and the AC wasn't working. Nothing else on the menu card was available. The outside Khau Galli has more food choices. I feel sorry for the one manager trying to run the whole hotel with just one housekeeper, one helper, and one cook.
