Hotel Shalimar Inn

We needed a half-day room for a guest at Hotel Shalimar Inn in November. After checking the room, we booked it online at a discounted rate, but the staff refused to honor the booking because of the discount. They shouted at us and forcibly removed one of our guests, who had a fractured hand. The way they treated us felt abusive and completely unacceptable. We also had to carry our luggage up three floors because the lift wasn't working, and the curtains in the room were stained. This behavior from management was shocking and showed no basic decency or care for customers. I can't recommend the hotel.

Rooms are cleaned daily, and the staff are supportive and cooperative. The food tastes good at Shalimaar restaurant. The hotel is in a central part of nashik city, with the main road just 20m away, so tourists can easily find an auto or taxi for getting around. Room cleanliness is good.

The staff were nice to guests, and the room service was really good. A very nice place to stay.

We first asked about a room, then came back to book it, but the female staff member was rude and disrespectful. When we tried to speak, she made an arrogant remark: “Is this a vegetable market?” There was no hospitality or basic courtesy. I wouldn't recommend it if you expect decent treatment.
