The peaceful setting and homely feel made our Nashik visit really relaxing. The place was clean, spacious, comfortable, and just what we’d hoped for. Everything was well maintained, and the amenities were thoughtfully provided. Ms. Jyoti was especially kind and attentive as a host. We really appreciated her care and hospitality, and felt right at home.😇

I booked the property on booking.com using the Pay at Property option. A few hours before we were due to arrive, they messaged on WhatsApp asking us to cancel because they had given the room to someone else, even though I’d confirmed by email that we were coming. I left a one-star review explaining what happened. Someone from the property then called and shouted at me, asking how I dared to review them when I hadn’t stayed there. They said they cancelled because we hadn’t paid anything in advance, but they had never called, emailed, or messaged to request a token amount. The caller kept shouting and behaving very badly, threatened to leave me a bad review on booking.com, and said I was blacklisted for no reason. If you look through their reviews, you’ll see they can’t take even the smallest criticism. They call guests, threaten them over reviews, and shout at them. I told them they shouldn’t offer Pay at Property if advance payment was mandatory.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and looked after, with clean linens, comfortable beds, and some privacy. It's a practical, cozy stay rather than a place with high-end hotel luxuries, though individual rooms may have extra thoughtful touches. Keep in mind that amenities may be limited compared with a traditional hotel, and privacy depends on the room and house layout. It’s a good idea to ask about the facilities and room setup before booking. If you’re after a personal stay in Nashik and a taste of local culture, Shiv-Vatsalya is a good option. The hosts’ warmth, the food, and the comfortable accommodation make it feel like a home away from home, even without extensive hotel services.
