Hotel Pub Street Inn

The reception guy was rude when I checked out just 20 minutes late, as though this were a four-star hotel. The room wasn’t clean, the washroom was unhygienic, and a terrible smell hit us as soon as we walked in. The whole day was disturbed by the stay. I wouldn’t recommend booking here.

Parking was a major headache, and the price felt a little high. The room was clean and good, though on the small side, and the location worked well. There were some mosquitoes, and while a few orders came quickly, others took forever. The food was average to slightly above average. Staff could be friendlier and more customer focused, and soundproofing the rooms would help. Management could make a big difference with some effort.

I’ve been here for eight days and still don’t know who owns or manages the hotel. When I asked the manager for their name, he said he didn’t know. Basic service has been frustrating: staff refused to provide a glass and plate, and after a long discussion gave me one plate with instructions to wash it and return it myself. In 25 years of hotel stays, I’ve never had staff say that to a customer. When I asked to have the room cleaned, they said the laundry work had stopped. There’s little basic hospitality, and the staff don’t seem trained for service. Even though I’m already staying here, I have to pay and book again each day; after I said I’d continue, the manager still insisted I had to book again. I could write much more, but I hope anyone reading understands my point, and that the owner and management do too.

The rooms are tiny and old, the floor wasn’t clean, and the TV didn’t work. It felt creepy staying here, and the photos online look older than the place now. It needs serious restoration. Maybe okay for men, but I wouldn’t recommend it for women.
