Airport Avenue Plaza

We were picked up from Kochin Airport on our first day, and the staff were very good with us from the start. The reception team stayed calm and pleasant throughout. Our room was very nice, and we had the breakfast-only package. Breakfast was good, and with our two little kids, that suited us. For lunch or dinner, there’s a menu you can order from Al-Madeena restaurant, which is nice too. A good experience, so I’d suggest it to others. Thank you, Avenue Plaza. ❤️❤️

Noise was a major problem. The hotel isn’t soundproof, and it sits between a church and a functional hall where noisy events with crackers and loud music often take place. It disturbed us badly and gave us headaches, so we ended up spending two nights outside the hotel. The room itself was uncomfortable, with a confusing layout and just one chair. The AC didn’t cool properly and dripped water, and reception never fixed it. The bathroom was clogged, the mirror was dirty, and the room wasn’t cleaned daily. There was no body wash or soap, and the charger outlet was inconveniently far from the bed. Service was poor too. Calls to reception usually went unanswered, and staff seemed unresponsive and lazy. The complimentary breakfast was subpar, with hard idlis and poor tea, and staff did not respond to complaints.

The location near the airport is the only good part. The rooms were dirty, with water clogging around them, and the towels and sheets were filthy. Breakfast was awful. I couldn’t even eat one idly.

I came here to see off my daughter from Nedumbassery Airport. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it was clean and neat, and the front office staff were friendly and cooperative. There’s no restaurant inside, so you have to find somewhere to eat. That’s the one problem. Otherwise, good. 👍👍
