The owner was the best part of the stay, very easygoing and answered every question I asked. The rooms match the photos, but they felt old and weren’t very clean or colorful. I paid 1500rs for a non ac room and didn’t think it was worth the money. The next day I got an AC room for 1800rs just 400m from baga beach.
Crystal cottages offers a modest, homely stay, with friendly receptionist Antony, helpful staff, personal attention, and comfortable service. People recommend it for that home away from home feeling. There’s usually accommodation available in the off-season, when finding a place to stay in Goa is easy. In peak season, rooms can be an issue with so many tourists, so it’s best to reserve Crystal cottages well ahead of time. It can still be possible to find guest houses within budget.
Archana, the cottege caretaker, behaved very rudely. She demanded 500 for just 5 min extra time.
Really good location, and the rooms were clean.
I stayed here in 2015 and had my best experience. The owner was very nice and humble.
