Blu Missel By The River

We were comfortable throughout our stay, largely thanks to how clean and well-maintained the rooms were. The hygiene was impressive. The riverside open seating area is beautiful, with greenery and a quiet feel that makes it easy to relax. Staff were consistently polite, supportive, and ready to help, and service was excellent. Everything we tried was fresh and tasty, and arrived on time. A pleasant choice for time with family or friends.

We visited in October 2025, and the food was tasty and well prepared. Food and liquor prices seemed reasonable. Friday and Saturday evenings may include live singing or other small activities, which make the restaurant feel lively. There are around 20 spacious rooms, some with balconies, plus room service and a restaurant where you can relax with friends or family. The upper floor rooms have a beautiful creek view, and the setting in Old Goa is a good fit if you want a quieter break from the usual party scene. Staff were polite and helpful. I was accidentally overcharged at checkout, but after I alerted a staff member, he promptly followed up with accounts and got the amount refunded. He kept in touch by phone throughout, which I appreciated. The property is away from the main city buzz, though essential shops and medical stores are nearby. Most close at 8:30 p.m. and are shut from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. There are only 4-5 parking spaces on site, but extra parking is available across the road. A peaceful, comfortable getaway.

The yacht outing was a real highlight, and dinner came with lovely live music. We had amazing food and beautiful views of the Mandovi River. Jilani was especially courteous and went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay. A spot in Ribandar I’d recommend to visitors to Panaji.

The attached restaurant was convenient, and both the food and atmosphere were really good. Our room was clean, spacious, and well kept, making for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended.
