Bloom Boutique - Connaught Place Area

My mother and I came from srilanka and stayed here in August. We had a wonderful time, and I felt the hotel and its surroundings were safe and pleasant. They let us check in early for an extra charge. Breakfast was good, with Indian food, and our room was spacious with a roomy cupboard. The attached bathroom was clean and had the facilities we needed; there was also a kettle setup for tea, and both the AC and TV worked. The staff were friendly and quick to respond when we asked for help by phone or through the Web. They brought us an adapter and extra towels. We didn't have a window or balcony, though. One memorable touch was the complimentary drinks, cofee and nuts in the lobby. I'd recommend this place to anyone coming to Delhi.

I've stayed at Bloom Hotel, Connaught Place, a number of times over the last couple of years. Its familiar design across properties makes each visit feel comfortable, and the place is kept very clean and hygienic. The service has been consistently excellent, too. I like the complimentary lemon-flavored sparkling water and snack packets, and the location opposite Hotel Lalit is convenient. The wide buffet is a nice way to start the morning. My main issues are in the room: the lighting feels insufficient, and the bathroom is cramped, with the commode in an awkward spot. The room itself is comfortable, but those things cost it a star for me.

The reception responds when you need them, and breakfast is dependable and good. The eggs are always cooked very well. Rooms are a decent budget option, but keep in mind there's a lot of noise from the train tracks behind the hotel. You can hear the train horns at any time.

Bloom Boutique feels premium and fresh, with bright sunshine-yellow interiors and a lovely ambience. The staff and service were fabulous, and it's good value for anyone already comfortable with the IBIS hotel chain. The location near connaught place makes it handy for hopping around Delhi, and it works well for families too.
