Being close to Rajwada made it easy to explore central Indore, and the staff were quick to help when I mentioned the dirty bedsheets. They changed them right away, which was the best part of the stay. The room itself was decent, but the TV and AC didn’t work, and the bedding hadn’t been cleaned properly before I arrived. Finding the entrance was frustrating too: the hotel is on the second and third floors, with little clear signage at street level. A clear, well-lit sign or directory downstairs would help, and guests could be sent directions or a short video after booking. Housekeeping could use a final check of the bedding, AC and TV before marking a room ready. Since Rajwada is so close, a map or QR code with Sarafa Bazar food spots and nearby places to explore could also be useful.

We left early because we felt so uncomfortable. The area seemed unsafe, and at around 1 AM a drunk staff member knocked on room doors asking who was staying inside. In the morning he said it was “police,” which made no sense. Then at 7 AM he knocked again to ask about tea, though we hadn’t requested any. The hygiene was poor too, with stained bedsheets and dirty towels. We arrived late and couldn’t switch hotels, but I wouldn’t recommend this place to families or women. Please avoid it.

I paid half and booked through OYO, but the location was so bad and the place so dirty that I didn’t even check in. The floor was sticky, the bedsheet unclean, and there was a leak in the room. There was no parking either. After arguing with OYO, I asked for a refund. This was the worst hotel I’ve booked through them. Don’t trust the photos on the site, Google, or the OYO app.

The lift didn’t work, the TV was out of order, and there wasn’t even a telephone in the room. I tried switching rooms, but the other room had the same stained bedsheet and blanket. A really awful experience.

I had paid in full but wasn’t checked in. The receptionist was foolish and angry, and they wouldn’t accept my online booking even though rooms were vacant. I came back feeling very sad. Poor service and a poor OYO system. I have no words.
