Hotel Sarthi

My experience was bad, and I didn't feel safe inside the hotel. The room had a strong, unpleasant smell that was hard to breathe through, the washroom smelled too, and the bedsheet had dust and black particles on it. The location also felt bad to me. From the front it looks like the hotel is among nice residential areas, but approaching from the other side, the surroundings seemed low class and made me worry something bad, like getting kidnapped, could happen.

The staff were nice, room service was good and the food tasted good. Cleaning needs more attention, though. The bedsheets, towel and visible areas were clean, but I found dust on top of the amenities and under the bed, as if the room hadn't been cleaned since its last cleaning. One side of the hotel has a good residential area; the other side is a village and doesn't look good either.

The staff were friendly, but that was about the only plus for me. It's an older hotel with old rooms, though they are spacious, and cleanliness needs improvement. They refused check-in through online apps. The food wasn't good at all, and most menu items weren't available, so after one meal I had to order from outside.

For my work trip to Noida, this felt like home. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained, with all the essentials, and the toilet was clean too. Staff were polite and helpful, room service was prompt, and the food was good. The tap water labeled hot wasn't hot enough, though I was in a hurry and didn't complain. I'm sure they would've brought hot water if I'd asked. Great value for what I paid.
