The location is good and the room size was fine. I booked a double bed room, but they first gave me a single bed room for the same price. They changed it later, though the replacement room had no door lock. Room service was slow, even for drinking water, and the food wasn't good.

The outside food rule felt unfair in a world with Zomato and Swiggy, where guests should be able to choose where they eat. I don't know the receptionist's name, but his manner wasn't professional. The service was disappointing too. It took 15 minutes to get a bottle of water or a towel, which should have been in the room already, and when I asked for two towels they sent one. They don't seem to care much about guests. The room itself was neat and clean, with nice interiors, though the washroom needs attention. Breakfast was bad, the poori was semi-cooked, like food in a mess. I stayed just one night, so this wasn't a major issue for me, but it could be for a longer stay. The hotel should change its policies, or OYO should regulate its partner hotels. I'd recommend it only to people on a tight budget who have no other options.

The long waits for food orders really spoil the mood, and the restaurant needs better discipline and food quality. The manager and in-charges seem trained to make excuses and don't care much about hearing feedback. The facilities and hygiene are excellent, though. Good service matters if a hotel wants guests to come back and bring financial benefits.

A basic place that looks good outside, but the rooms aren't so good anymore. The balcony we wanted was dusty from floor to railing. I've also seen other rooms where there was mould and patches of wall paint coming off. Cleanliness is an issue. Durbin maintains the property very well. It's okay for an overnight stay if you're not expecting anything fancy.

As I write this, I'm thirsty and trying to get water in my room. The room phone doesn't work, and calling reception sends me to the OYO call center. They've kept me on hold for the last 20 minutes. There's no room service. People also press you to give a higher rating as you leave. Don't trust the good ratings, I think they're fake. This is an awful place. If you've booked here, you feel stuck and like you'll never want to return.
