O Hotel Goa Candolim beach

Being so close to the beach made this a convenient choice, especially for families, and the clean, well-kept swimming pool was a bonus. Check-in was smooth and easy. Our room was spotless and well maintained. A wonderful place for a comfortable, relaxing stay, and I'd recommend it to families.

We liked Santana Beach enough to stay there in Candolim two years in a row, and we're glad we chose it. It's a two-minute walk to the beach, around ten minutes to the livelier part of the resort, and about five minutes by taxi or tuk tuk from Beach Road. Staff couldn't do enough for us, and I'd especially recommend the place to anyone new to Goa who isn't sure what to expect. We plan to return in a few years and can't wait for another holiday. The rooms are a little dated, but this is India. They were cleaned daily, with fresh towels, bedding, and bottles of water. There's a small pool with a swim-up bar at the bottom of the complex and a separate bar near reception. We stayed B&B, which had plenty of variety. You can also book lunch and dinner in the restaurant, with weekly live entertainment. Our favorite shack was VJs, about a ten-minute walk along the beach. We also liked Sam’s Curry’s and Grills, Mermaid, Blue Banana, Ruffles, and Candolim Deck. We went to other places too, but can't remember them all.

I've booked another stay at Santana for next year because I loved it so much. The rooms were clean, and the cleaning staff did a thorough job every day. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, especially Alyster at reception, who handled our requests without fuss. A special mention for Basant, our breakfast and bar waiter, who went above and beyond and is a real asset to the hotel. The staff were so attentive.

The beach is only 100-150 meters away, which was really convenient. Breakfast was top notch and I enjoyed it, though we didn't get to try lunch or dinner. The property is well maintained, the rooms are clean with a nice garden view, and the staff are always helpful and courteous. A great place near Candolim Beach, highly recommended.
