The place is right in the town centre, near the markets and viewpoints, and the room was clean with basic toiletries. We had an okay stay. We booked through goibibo for 2.3 k, but the same room was available for 1.5 k when booking in person. There was an issue with hot water, though they arranged some from elsewhere, which I appreciated. None of the rooms have balconies, so this may not suit you if you want a great view.

The rooms are quite compact, but fine for a basic stay. Munnar Inn is right in the town centre, with tourist attractions easy to reach. Saravana bhavan, a pure vegetarian restaurant serving very good South Indian food, is within walking distance, and there are plenty of spice, herbal, and boutique shops nearby. I’d recommend it for a budget family stay.

They told us hot water was available, but when I asked in the morning, I was told it wouldn’t be ready until after 6:30-7 am. That timing isn’t flexible for tourists who want to freshen up early and get going.

There’s no parking, and the room was quite noisy despite being in the centre of Munnar. Hot water wasn’t available in the morning, so they brought it in a bucket. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a family trip.

I felt it was great value for the price. The location is convenient too, with restaurants, public transport, and tourist spots close by. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Munnar.
