The staff’s hospitality was excellent, and the food was tasty, home-style, affordable, and loved by all of us. Thanks to the staff and the chef, we left delighted. We came for a family weekend without high expectations because the reviews were confusing. It’s an old British-built guesthouse that’s maintained well, so don’t expect resort or star-hotel facilities. The location is excellent and the view is mesmerizing. The last 100 meters of the approach road are tricky but manageable. The price felt a bit high, perhaps because online agents raise rates on weekends and during vacations, but after the stay we were happy and weren’t worrying about the cost.

The breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets had lots of tasty options, and they’d make and serve whatever food we wanted. The facilities were a big hit with the kids. Our room at [BRITISH CLIFF CLUB RESORT ] was spacious, spotless, and had a comfortable bed with crisp sheets. We could walk to major attractions, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The receptionist and other staff gave us great tips for exploring the city. We’ll definitely come back on our next trip.

We spent five lovely days at british cliff club resort with the family during school holidays last week. The rooms were big, the food was good, and the bathrooms were neat and clean. The weather was so romantic, and we had a lovely time together.

The road is the main drawback: it’s narrow, steep, and only experienced drivers should tackle it. A new driver may not manage the climb. Also, staff won’t go down to buy things, so you need to walk or drive about 2 km to get supplies. Once there, though, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The view over Ooty and the race track is lovely, and the food is awesome and reasonably priced, though sometimes it isn’t hot because of the weather. A fantastic place overall.
