Club Mahindra Danish Villa Ooty

It’s a small mountain property with an amazing view. The staff were very polite and disciplined, and Shanta helped with all our holiday requests. Food choices are limited, but what we had was delicious. We switched rooms midway because cars were parked right in front of ours, so ask for a higher floor or a room away from the parking. I’d recommend staying two days for a peaceful getaway.

This is an old Danish Bungalow converted into 12 studio rooms, with some antique furniture. The cottages sit uphill and feel quaint and cozy, with a captivating view. There’s a lovely lawn outside with cast iron tables and chairs where you can relax in the sun. The dining room is very small, and there’s no buffet unless the property is fully occupied. It’s near Ooty township, with easy access to restaurants, the bazaar, the botanical garden and Ooty lake.

The grounds are full of greenery and flowers, and the view is beautiful. It was such a peaceful place to spend a weekend away from city life. Our room was clean and had a heater for the cold weather. The staff were always ready to help, and the food was so good I’d suggest eating there instead of searching for somewhere outside. We really enjoyed our stay at danish villa.

The views here are the best, and parking was easy. The rooms were looked after well and had heaters, which came in handy. We visited recently and had a wonderful stay. The whole property is cared for by an all-female team, and they do a lovely job keeping it beautiful. Service was excellent and always came with a smile.
