The staff responded quickly whenever we asked for anything, and hot water was available around the clock. The bathroom and washroom were clean, though there was a constant sewage-like smell. We got a balcony room, but its glass enclosure made it hard to take photos or videos of the view, and I was disappointed not to get a room with a window view. Parking is limited too, with space for only five four-wheelers. We had a good stay overall.
From check-in to check-out, the staff were welcoming and accommodating, always smiling even in the freezing weather. Our room was clean, especially the bathroom and toilet, and waking up to that beautiful view made for a great stay. I’d definitely recommend it.
Room 205 was peaceful and lovely, and waking up to that beautiful view made the stay feel special. The staff were wonderful and helpful too. I really loved it and would like to visit again soon.
I stayed with my family. We had a good time, and the service and staff were very good.
We were five family members staying at Hotel Divi Heritage from 12th to 18th November 2024. The view from the room was lovely and calming, and the location near Charing Cross Road was convenient. After long days out sightseeing, being able to order outside food through Zomato or Swiggy was a big plus. Vinod also helped arrange food when we needed it. Vinod’s room service was excellent. He was courteous and brought extra blankets, pillows and a kettle when we asked. He also cleaned the room and bathroom on request. This isn’t a star-rated hotel, but they did the basics well, including changing sheets and blankets. Hot water was available all day thanks to a geyser they kept running, though after filling a bucket we had to wait about 15-20 minutes for it to heat again. The TV worked, but just two power sockets did, one by the bed and one beside the mirror. The bathroom light flickered now and then. These small maintenance issues could be fixed, along with the loose or broken sockets and mattress quality. Complimentary tea and coffee sachets would be nice too. There’s a club next door. We could hear music in the evenings, but it wasn’t loud enough to bother us with the room door shut, and it stopped around 10 PM, so we slept fine. Vinod was polite and dedicated, though we did notice him drinking on one occasion. The owner, Tanzeem, came across as a little abrupt when speaking, but that may just be his natural tone, rather than deliberate rudeness. For the price, the service was commendable. If you want a budget-friendly place near Charing Cross with a good view, Hotel Divi Heritage is a decent option.
