We had a lovely family holiday in a peaceful spot, a welcome break from regular city life. The room was lovely, the service was superb, and the morning tea was a delightful part of the day. The staff were humble and helpful, and the location worked perfectly for us. It was a memorable trip, and the experience has made me a loyal returning guest.

We had the four rooms on the first floor, along with a hall, for ten people. The location has a nice view, the food was awesome, and the caretaker was very friendly. There was complete privacy for bachelors. I'm loving it.

The road leading here needs improvement, but otherwise everything was fine. We had a nice stay, with a great view of nature, and caretaker Shiva was good. I'd recommend booking ahead if you want to enjoy the place among the greenery.

Getting here is a long way from Ooty, so you'll need your own vehicle or to book an auto. The greenery shown in front of the property is full of buffalo dung. This business feels very commercial and misleading in its name. By the standards of a lodge, it falls short: there was no toothpaste or shampoo, just one 4 rupees Medimix soap for the whole stay in each room, and one towel per room. Two people didn't get extra towels, soap, or shampoo. They also gave us water in used 5 litre plastic bottles from previous guests, which was disgusting. When I asked for things, I was told the owner hadn't said to provide them. For a 10000 rupess change, I expected at least one 4 rupees soap per person each day, plus towels and shampoo so we could bathe properly after walking around Ooty. Please don't book this nasty property and spoil your experience.
