The scenery around Global Village resort Ooty was lovely, and our two-night family stay last week was amazing and peaceful. The rooms were clean and well maintained, the food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. I’d definitely recommend it for a comfortable family stay.

We stayed at Chettinad Durbar during the Christmas vacation. It has a vintage look and was very well maintained, with neat, clean rooms and stunning views. The front office staff treated guests so well, and their hospitality was top notch. Food choices could use a little more variety, and the prices are on the high side, but the hospitality makes up for that.

The resort is around 30 mins from Ooty main town, so keep that in mind. Otherwise, all was good. Staff were polite and caring, the hospitality was great, the rooms were decent with a great view, and breakfast was well prepared with good variety. We had a pleasant time and recommend it.

Shiva made the stay special. He was an amazing person and the service from him was great. The food was good too, though I wish the property had more choices. Our room itself was just okay, nothing luxurious but nothing awful, and it had a big window looking out over the tea garden. We stayed three days.
