At least you can order through Swiggy. The room service, though, took at least half an hour just to bring tea, and the restaurant closed after 8:00 PM, so we had to plan to eat outside. The complimentary breakfast was three idly, vada, and coffee; anything else cost extra, and breakfast didn't start until after 8:30 AM, which made planning difficult. Rooms weren't cleaned properly, with dust on the wardrobe, TV, and phones. We even found a dress under the bedspread that a previous guest had left behind. There's plenty of parking.

The hotel's location was the one good thing. For such a high price, the stay was unpleasant: the rooms were small and dirty, floors hadn't been cleaned after the previous guests, and we weren't given clean linens. The beds were uncomfortable and made awful noises. The bathroom basin was about the size of a mug, and hot water wasn't available all the time, which is a problem in a cold place like Ooty. No fan or AC, and the TV didn't work. Room service was slow, the in-house restaurant had very few choices, and locking the doors was difficult because the locks were outdated. They didn't even provide a complimentary water bottle.

The helper anna, Chandran, was kind and helpful. Everything else was one of our worst hotel experiences. The beds had stains, rooms were unclean and smelly, and the bathroom heater wasn't turned on even though it was installed. There was no power backup. We left the next day. I'd tell everyone to avoid this place.

The food here is delicious and feels like home cooking, so don't choose to eat elsewhere. The stay had a homely feel, too. There's spacious parking, and the bus stop is nearby, making it easy to travel to places around Ooty. The rooms are very good, with a TV and hot water, and the ambience is lovely. Service was excellent.
