Oyo 19397 Hotel All Season

By day two, our stay had turned splendid. The morning misty view was a highlight, and from the terrace you can see what felt like 70-80% of Ooty. I don’t think another nearby hotel has that same terrace view, apart from GEM PARK. We stayed with family, had no trouble during the visit, and Room 107 is one I’d suggest to anyone planning a vacation here. The place is within 2 km of government botanical garden and seems fairly new, run by young entrepreneurs who are trying hard to offer good service. My first-day check-in was bitter, but the team made up for it with smiles and a willingness to listen. Rooms were clean and well kept. There are a few small things they could improve, but the service won me over. Kannan and Hemanth were especially good, and everyone working there deserves applause. Breakfast is their signature, and it’s homemade by Kannan’s Mom, not food from XYZ hotel. The red chutney and sambar deserve a special star. We liked it so much that we asked Kannan’s Mom to make dinner for us on the third night, and we loved that too. I can’t say whether every guest gets that dinner, so it may depend on your luck. Kannan seems to say yes to almost everything to keep guests happy. He even found a language-specific paper for my dad, served hot tea whenever we asked, provided hot drinking water, and arranged customized broccoli from what we’d bought ourselves. It’s not a high-end or superstar hotel, but every penny we spent felt worth it. Thanks to OYO and the wonderful ALL SEASONS team for making the holiday memorable.

Our city-facing room was spacious and clean, with a big window and an attached balcony that opened onto amazing views. The staff were very courteous, and the hotel itself was lovely. I gave it four stars because, even after a 50% discount, I paid 4k per night, a little more than other places.

The location was good and the staff were nice, but the check-in time didn’t line up with the bus schedule, so we had to wait around for hours. They charged for water bottles after giving them the first time without telling us in advance, which wasn’t acceptable. The hotel is a bit tucked away, with no food options nearby, so you’re dependent on online delivery.

The view from this lovely little place is hard to beat, and the service was wonderful. It’s an OYO, but the staff made us feel looked after beyond what I’d expect at a five-star hotel. Don’t expect many amenities, though. The luxuries are limited, but the team still makes the guest experience feel full.
