Hillside Spring Valley

The hosts were great and welcoming, and the area was nice for relaxing and passing the time. The food was good too. Some of the games were enjoyable, though a few kits were broken. The rooms didn’t feel worth the price, and the bathrooms had no exhaust fans. For the infrastructure and service, I definitely wouldn’t call it a 3 star hotel. I might consider visiting again if the price were lower.

Our family left feeling shaken and neglected. The resort felt unsafe, with no electric safety fences or barricades to keep wild animals out. The room was filthy, with dust and insects everywhere, and the laundry was poorly cleaned. Staff were unavailable to manage the stay, and there was no front desk, manager, or owner present to help. The staff seemed inexperienced, indifferent, and unresponsive when we raised concerns. Basic things we’d been promised, including help with food preparation, a camp fire, and room amenities, weren’t provided. The advertised TV didn’t work, and although a restaurant was advertised, it was closed. We brought food from outside, but it was uncooked and badly handled. We complained, but nothing was done, and we went to bed hungry. At checkout, we raised the issues with the owner, who was rude and focused only on the money. He showed no respect, understanding, or regret about our discomfort. The lack of security, poor amenities, uncooked food, and the way our complaints were handled made this a traumatic experience for my family.

The resort has a nice design and a good atmosphere, but the poor upkeep takes away from its appeal. The lights, switches, and fans didn’t work properly, and there were no screens on the door, windows, or bathroom vent, so insects got in after dark. The food was brought in from elsewhere and wasn’t cooked properly. When we raised these problems, the owner was very rude.

The food was a highlight, with plenty of satisfying choices made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients, from breakfast through dinner. The staff at masinagudi hillside spring valley were friendly and attentive, and did more than expected to make us comfortable. I was thoroughly impressed by the service and had a relaxing stay. A fantastic choice, highly recommended.
