We got a good deal by visiting on weekdays, and avoided the usual tourist crowds. Room prices shoot up on weekends at most places, including deSanthosh Residency 😅. The owner was friendly, and after we checked out at 9 in the morning, the staff let us leave our luggage there while we walked around the local streets. Our train wasn’t until late evening, so we returned, freshened up, and headed on to our next destination. The rooms were good, the place cozy and clean, and there’s a lift, hot and cold drinking water, and market access nearby. Food options were closed when we arrived late 💤, and still weren’t open at checkout. Even so, the stay went smoothly for us. It’s a recommendable, cost-efficient option for an Ooty trip 😉.

Cab arrangements were on time and the sightseeing was reasonably priced, and the hotel’s pure food was good too. From start to finish, we enjoyed our Ooty trip. It would’ve been hard to manage without the services at De Santhosh Residency hotel. Thanks to everyone there, Sir.
